Waiting On Wednesday #4: Tested (New World #3) by Janelle Stalder

Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill over at Breaking The Spine. It showcases books that we are looking forward to reading. My book this week, it’s cover yet to be revealed, is Tested (New World #3) by Janelle Stalder. I’ve already devoured the first two books in the series, 17840598 Switch (New World #1), read my review HERE; and Pageflex Persona [document: PRS0000039_00005] Masked (New World #2), read my review HERE. This is a NA/Dystopia series, and is very addicting. I love the world that Janelle has created, and each book is centered around a particular person or persons as the case may be.

A brief blurb from book 1: Two thirds of the world population has been wiped out, devastated by the worst war the earth has ever seen. Standing among the ruins is a mind reader who finds herself on the wrong side of the war. Everyone does what they must in order to survive. When the rebels bent on bringing down the New World leader start to rise up, it is her job to make sure they stay down where they belong. That is, until one rebel sneaks past her defenses and into her heart. Love will blossom from the ashes, but will it be enough to save them, or will it mean the end of them both?

*These books are for mature audiences due to sexual situations, violence and strong language.*

Tested will be released on June 24, 2014.

    • They are easy to follow. Where one ends, the other starts right off where the last book stopped. If an author can make me fall in love with a “bad guy”, so to speak, then that is one likable book. Her characters are flawed and real. I live it!

I love comments, and try to reply as often as I can. Know that I read each and every one.
