Kindle Kandy is a Friday weekly meme, hosted by The Book Dame, that spotlights books on our ereaders that we have had for a while, but have yet to read.
This is my first KK, and I have waaaay too many books that I have not read on my Kindle. To pick one is impossible, so I’ll just start off with 2 for now. These 2 have been waiting to be read for years now, and I’m sort of ashamed to have not given them my attention. *Covers link to Goodreads*
College freshman Leesa Nyland has been fascinated by vampires since she was three years old. That’s when her mom started acting weird, refusing to go outside during the day and insisting the sunlight hurt her skin because she had been bitten by a one-fanged vampire…
But fascinated doesn’t mean Leesa believes—any more than she believes in blue fire, people who live for centuries, and kisses that can kill. When her beloved older brother suddenly disappears, she is forced to confront all these and more.
Jade loves her new apartment-until a ghost joins her in the shower.
When empath Jade Calhoun moves into an apartment above a strip bar on Bourbon Street, she expects life to get interesting. What she doesn’t count on is making friends with an exotic dancer, attracting a powerful spirit, and developing feelings for Kane, her sexy landlord.
Being an empath has never been easy on Jade’s relationships. It’s no wonder she keeps her gift a secret. But when the ghost moves from spooking Jade to terrorizing Pyper, the dancer, it’s up to Jade to use her unique ability to save her. Except she’ll need Kane’s help and he’s betrayed her with a secret of his own to do it. Can she find a way to trust him and herself before Pyper is lost?
There are maybe a thousand more distributed between my 3 ereaders and computer. I’m trying to do better! I was thinking doing a spreadsheet to organize them all and start with the oldest to newest. Hopefully, these 2 aren’t that far down on the list because I really want to get to them soon. What Kindle Kandy have you got to share? Come on people, don’t be selfish!
I have Breathless too and about 400 other books to read on my kindle. Sad by true. Those darn freebie one-clickers get me every time. I like this meme!!

I’ve been one-clicking for about 5 years, so you can imagine the thousands I have on all my ereaders.

Exactly! I just organized another box of books to take to the library. It’s easier (and cheaper) to donate them instead of doing a giveaway and having to pay for postage. I’m still not done though. At least I am giving away the ones that I don;t plan to read or ones that I’ve read that I didn’t really like. All of my favorites are still around and the ones that I will be devouring soon.

I am guilty of this as well. I have so many books on my Nook and on the kindle app in my iPad I’ve yet to get to. Not to mention the piles and mounds of books in my house and room. I feel like I’m swimming in them sometimes.

I should really organise all the books sitting on my Kindle as well but there are just seriously wayyy too many for me to know where to start. I will at some point, maybe in the Winter break at the end of the year when I know I have a lot of time? I’ve seen this meme on Suzi’s blog and love the sound of it. Breathless also sounds promising to me ❤

Yes, I just need to push myself to read more of the books that I already own, instead of getting more. It’s an impossible task when there are so many amazing books that I want to read.

I think that I have Breathless on my Kindle too. I will have to check. It is crazy that I have so many books that I don’t even know what I have.
I have not seen Haunted on Bourbon Street before now. It sounds like a fun read with a lot of the elements that I like.
Thank you for participating. It is nice to have you. I hope that you are reminded of some of the books that you already own and are able to gnaw away at them. Happy reading, Lekeisha!

I am going to try to read as many as possible before the year’s end.

Wow, if I did this meme I would have so much to feature – all those Kindle books I snagged as past deals and freebies!

I know!! There are literally thousands. I have no idea when I’ll be able to just sit and read. I have to work, cook, and clean!

I hope you manage to read these soon. I’ve not heard of either of them but the synopses sound great. Happy reading! x
