I can’t even tell you what this book is about, other than it’s dystopian. Usually, I will try to pull through, but after trying and trying to get into the story, I finally gave up. It’s slow and boring. I’m one for finding out what happened to the world and who is dictating the people. No such interest this time. This is one of those books that’s just not for me. From the description, it sounds interesting but not unique. There are always rebels that try to undo the situations forced upon society.
I can get behind that idea, as I love this genre. Nothing jumped out from the first page, and the one after that, and so on. There’s a blushing boy who likes a girl and they get through checkpoints undetected. There’s a situation with the car they’re traveling in. I don’t know what happened after that. Don’t take my word for it because it may be the best book that you’ve ever read. Just not my thing. I may revisit it on down the road, but until then I’ll stop here. No rating, since I didn’t finish it. Like I said, it may get better as the story progresses.
Wow, it does sound pretty sucky.

Yeah, bored me to sleep my first try. I woke up with a dead Kindle the following morning.

Booooo for boring books! Sorry you didn’t like this that much girl. But yesssss, SO MANY Dystopian books pick off the other ones and they have the same kind of plots it’s just like *sigh* been there, done that. I hope your next read is better girl!♡♡ mwahhh!

I don’t think I will be reading this one. I do like the occasional dystopian, but seeing as dystopia tends to follow a certain grid there has to be something vaguely unique about the book in particular. It doesn’t seem like this one has it, and that it is also slow. So, not for me either.

It’s not unique at all. Well, the little that I read didn’t scream different. I’m curious as to how someone else takes to it.

Well, that’s one book to scratch off the TBR. It sounds like a struggle even from your first sentence. First thing I want from a book is story. If there’s not even enough of that, then yeah, move on, next book!

The struggle was real. There are more books that demand my attention, and I wasn’t about to keep trying to make something happen.
