Stacking The Shelves is a weekly meme, hosted by Tynga’s Reviewsthat spotlights the books we are adding to our shelves; whether they be virtual or physical.

My True Love Gave To Me by various authors – Hardcover for (Review)

Shade Me by Jennifer Brown – eARC (Blog Tour)

The Girl’s Guide To The Apocalypse by Daphne Lamb – ebook (Blog Tour)

Clean Sweep & Sweep in Peace by Ilona Andrews – ebooks (Purchased)

Nuts by Alice Clayton – ebook (Library)

Onyx (Lux #2) by Jennifer Armentrout – Library (Review

I stalked Amazon late Saturday night and came across both Ilona books for less than $2.05 each, and had to grab them while I could. I wanted a few more but decided that I would not break my book buying reduction. It’s hard out here for a booknerd guys! Thanks to St. Martin’s Griffin for the copy of My True Love Gave To Me.

I got my results back from the Dr. and there’s nothing going on up there but chronic migraines (which I’ve known since the age of 12), but he put me on new meds, and I’ve not had a migraine this week to see if it’ll help. Another football Saturday for me, so you all know where I’ll be; screaming at the TV and praying that we beat the s**t out of those Florida Gators! What books did you add to your shelves this week? Happy Saturday!

  2. I am sorry about the migraines 😦 I have had them since I was very young too, I hope this new medicine helps you, they’re so very miserable.

The animated cover of MTLGTM is so CUTE! I haven’t seen that before, and I adore it! And Shade Me looks really good too. Hope you have a great week, and my fingers are crossed that your medication keeps on working!

  3. I have My True Love on Audio and hope to listen whilst I bake cookies this year. I am determined to hold out for the audio of Sweep in Peace even though it is killing me. I hope you have a wonderful, stress free week 🙂

  5. What the … that cover is animated. That’s cool! And Nuts … I’ll be reading that soon. As much as migraines suck, glad it isn’t anything more.

  6. When it comes to the books, I have already seen how much you loved My True Love Gave to Me. Shade Me is one we have in common because the premise interested me and I will admit – the cover also caught my eye. As for Nuts I laughed at that cover and title but I have heard it is actually quite good!

I hope this migraines quit pretty soon and this new medication works for you ❤

  7. How cool is that My True Love Gave to Me cover? I so need to dig up my copy somewhere. Can you believe I only read Rainbow Rowell’s story? Bad, bad.

Enjoy your books this week, Lekeisha!

  8. Oh, those Ilona Andrews look good. I applaud you for sticking to budget. I try, I really do, but I fall off the wagon a lot.

I got some review books this week: Penelope Douglas’ Bully and Until You and New Leaf by Catherine Anderson.

  9. So sorry to hear about the migraines. Migraines hurt like hell. I hope your new meds help.
Much to my dad’s disappointment I’m not a football fan. So i sit there and read while he yells at the TV LOL.
Lovin’ your haul this week. Especially the Lux novel. I just finished that series recently and loved it. Now I need to get my hands on Oblivion.
Hope you enjoy all your new reads 🙂
