Stacking The Shelves #67

Stacking The Shelves is a weekly meme, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews, that spotlights the books we are adding to our shelves; whether they be virtual or physical.

One by Sarah Crossan – ebook (library) Check out my REVIEW.

The Urban Boys by K.N. Smith – ebook (review)

Magic Strikes (Kate Daniels #3) by Ilona Andrews – ebook (library)

What Lies Between Us by Nayomi Munaweera – ARC (Goodreads FR Giveaway) I’m not sure how much this book will weigh with me. I’ll either love it by the end, or hate it. I’m already in too deep, I’m just waiting for this confession to conclude. This is gonna be a very controversial book. I can feel it.

That is all for me this week. What books did you add to your shelf? Have you read either of these? Leave me links on how to stalk you!

  1. This is the first I’ve heard of One by Sarah Crossan — I’m not normally a huge fan of novels in verse, but the premise of this book is really intriguing and it sounds like a powerful read. I don’t think I’ve read a book before with conjoined twins as the protagonists! Thanks for putting it on my radar 🙂

  2. Oooh, a controversial book. I hope it ends on a good note. Love the Kate Daniels series.

I got an ARC of Darynda Jones’ The Dirt on Ninth Grave. Very excited.

    • I am looking forward to starting the CD series. I almost requested the 9th book for the blog tour, but I am OCD when it comes to series. I need to read the previous books, and I can’t catch up before release next year.

  3. No,. haven’t read any of these, but I’m excited you’re continuing with the Kate Daniels series! You’re ahead of me on that, I’m still on book 2. But if you’re continuing, you must be enjoying it and it must be good, so I’ll have to get on that 🙂

  4. Ilona Andrews is always awesome! Kate Daniels is a series that I will read again and again. I have a little crush on Curran 🙂

I really want to read The One. It looks to be a really good book. I haven’t heard of What Lies Between Us before now. I will have to keep an eye open for it. Congratulations on winning the book! I love it anytime I get a new book that wasy.

    • It’s more literary than anything, and I’m not quite sure what happened yet. I know that it’s a cultural clash; that much I know. I’m not judging until I know everything.

  5. I can’t wait to know your thoughts on the controversial book. Sometimes books like that leave us thinking about our opinions a lot as well. So far I have heard nothing about it so it will definitely be interesting for me. Oh, and I am so glad you loved One ❤ Another Illona Andrews books as well!
