She wants revenge…
The Dirty Sinners Motorcycle Club is Em Connors’s only family, but she’s ready to risk everything–both her club and her life–for vengeance. Ten months ago, she was brutally attacked and her lover gunned down by a rival gang member. Now, she’s using her position as the Dirty Sinners president to track down the truth and exact her revenge.
He’ll risk it all…
With his partner murdered by a local motorcycle gang, Houston police officer Cade Jackson jumps at the chance to go back undercover and bring down the woman the department calls the Motorcycle Princess. But the sexy-as-hell leader awakens a hunger in Cade. Dark desires run deep–and he intends on teaching Em exactly how dirty he can be. But when his cover is blown, Cade must choose to uphold the law or protect the woman he’s grown to love…by going rogue.
REVIEW
Rebel Love started out as a promising read. Sadly, it didn’t stay that way. How can you have a woman MC President that acts like she’s fresh out of junior high? You know the type; still immature, full of hormones and think they know it all just because that rookie status has been lifted. The author did not make me believe Em’s character as head of a ruthless gang. It just wasn’t there.
Cade, on the other hand, fit in his role well. He’s all male goodness wrapped in a pretty little package. Going undercover to infiltrate DSMC seemed like the perfect job for him. His plan was to impress Em and gain her trust. Of course, something more always comes out of these situations and everything is not as it seems.
I wanted something different with this one. Rebel Love is no different from all the other MC stories that I’ve read. And, while this one isn’t the greatest, I did like it. If you want to read something to pass the time, this is one of those reads that you can drown in for a few hours, but not really get anything new that makes you want to rave about it. Somewhat recommended.

I am so over the immature woman in adult reads. Bleh!

I struggle with MC books, but agree a woman running it should be strong, kickass and mature beyond her years,

She was not kickass enough for me. She was more about flaunting her assets, than kicking ass for information.

Oh I’m sorry that you weren’t able to enjoy this one more, like you I need to believe in the MC too 😦 I hope your next read is a lot more enjoyable! 🙂

The only thing that kept me reading was Cade. He’s one hot alpha male.

sorry to see it wasn’t what you wanted for the story there… I can understand. I hope your next book will be a bit more

oh this seems disappointing. I love the cover, but the heroine doesn’t sound very realistic to the set up of the story.

Not the worst book, but it’s definitely not the best either.

Not sure if I would read this, but I’m digging that cover!! 😀

It is a gorgeous cover, isn’t it?

That’s disappoint that the heroine acted like she was in junior high even though she had such a high level position in the MC. I hope your next read turns out a little better than this one.

Thanks! So far, the ones I’m finishing up aren’t all that. I’ll have those reviews up all next week.

Cade does indeed sound awesome. Em, not so much. I think I may skip this.
Superb review. 🙂

Yeah, a woman MC President in a club that includes men would be a nigh impossible sell for me let alone if she is young and emotional. A hard-bitten biker gal, maybe. 🙂
Glad it had some good points, though. I like biker romances, but I’m picky so I’m always looking for something new to try. Well-balanced review, Lekeisha.

I just wish there was more depth to the story. So predictable.

There are some great ones out there. I don’t read many MC romances, but I’ve read enough to know this pales in comparison.

It seems like this book seems to be a bit more of the usual same that always seems to be happening. It also doesn’t sound like the female main character didn’t suit the role of president at all. Glad that the guy fit his role better!

I guess the author wanted to make her more desirable than smart.

yeah I can see how that can be annoying the females behavior is stupid.

Oh man, that stinks that she wasn’t convincing for her role. That really can ruin a book because you really do need to believe it. At least Cade was good. 🙂 Sorry it wasn’t better for you though.

Yeah, just an okay read that doesn’t require brain cells. *sighs* Just look at that cover.

This sounds like the perfect NA to skip over. It just sounds so ordinary, and an immature MC, no m’am!

I hate to me so blunt, but there’s nothing special with this story. You want to pass the time and not have to use your brain? Go right ahead. But there are way more MC romances out there that are better told than this one.

Sorry this one wasn’t so great. I think you handled the negative review well 🙂 I have said before that negative reviews are actually some of my favorite. Best of luck on your next read!

It’s not really negative, since I liked it enough. Still, I was hoping for more with a cover and synopsis like this. I’ve read better, but it was okay.

Em sounds like she has no business being the president of an MC club! Which is actually sad, since I think I would have loved reading about an MC club where women could hold a position of power rather than just being ‘the old lady’ of whatever man they were with.
Too bad this didn’t work for you the way you wanted it to, Lekeisha 😦

Her motivation is what made her not fit for the job. She was all about revenge and love; she wasn’t hard enough.

I haven’t ever read a MC book yet, but I wouldn’t start here either it seems. I can’t stand characters who are supposed to be real tough at the head of something but who are really immature and whiny. I would struggle with Em too.
At least Cade was decent enough though!
Lovely review, Lekeisha! I hope your next MC book is better than this!

No, don’t start here. There are way too many to start with this one.

Em sounds annoying. I hate it when a main character in a story annoys me. Cade sounds like he might make up for Em just a little bit in this story. I haven’t read too many MC stories but I have a couple on my TBR. Great review!

Cade is all yummy man and alpha qualities; love him! Em, not so much. I have no idea why theses authors insist on making female leads seem like preteen girls.
