Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme, hosted by Breaking the Spine, that showcases upcoming releases we are eagerly anticipating.
This week I’m waiting on………
Roman Crazy by Nina Bocci & Alice Clayton
Publisher: Gallery Books
Pub Date: September 13th, 2016
Genres: New Adult, Contemporary, Romance
Avery Bardot steps off the plane in Rome, looking for a fresh start. She’s left behind a soon-to-be ex-husband in Boston and plans to spend the summer with her best friend Daisy, licking her wounds—and perhaps a gelato or two. But when her American-expat friend throws her a welcome party on her first night, Avery’s thrown for a loop when she sees a man she never thought she’d see again: Italian architect Marcello Bianchi.
Marcello was the man—the one who got away. And now her past is colliding with her present, a present where she should be mourning the loss of her marriage and—hey, that fettuccine is delicious! And so is Marcello…
Slipping easily into the good life of summertime in Rome, Avery spends her days exploring a city that makes art historians swoon, and her nights swooning over her unexpected what was old is new again romance. It’s heady, it’s fevered, it’s wanton, and it’s crazy. But could this really be her new life? Or is it just a temporary reprieve before returning to the land of twin-set cardigans and crustless sandwiches?
A celebration of great friendship, passionate romance, and wonderful food, Roman Crazy is a lighthearted story of second chances and living life to the fullest.
Why am I waiting?
I ran across this one yesterday, and after reading the synopsis, I was sold. I love second chance romances, friendship, and it’s set in Italy! Plus, it’s Alice Clayton. I figured since I’m already waiting for one of her titles to release in July, waiting for September should be no problem. What book are you waiting on this week?
I hadn’t heard of this book at all, so this is entirely a new one to me. I like the sound of it because I especially love books which are set in unique places. And Italy has been a dream place for me to want to see for a while now so DD: I’m in love with that idea. I haven’t read too many second chance romances so we’d have to see about that element of things!

YASSSSS GIRL! I LOVE second chance romances! As long as they’re not too cheesy and I can get into and feel the story as if it were my own! ❤ (Well, that's basically with ANY story, but you know what I mean!) I also agree, that the whole Rome backdrop is something EPICAL! ❤

This sounds really good. I don’t think I have read many books set in Italy. The only that comes to mind is Eat, Pray,Love which had a few chapters set in Italy. The synopsis sounds interesting. I hope you enjoy the book
