Stacking the Shelves #79

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews, that showcases the books we are adding to our shelves; whether they be virtual or physical.

Library Books

Dark Prince is one I’ve planned to start for years now. I didn’t plan to read After You  so soon after the first book, but I decided to borrow it instead of buying it for my shelf. While I enjoyed it, I was perfectly content with just the one book. I imagined something different for Lou in the future, but the author took a route I wasn’t expecting. Look for my review next week!

In My Mailbox

Finished copies of Don’t Get Caught from Sourcebooks and One With You from St. Martin’s Press came last week. I’ve read both already, and you can read my reviews here and here.

Netgalley

I really enjoyed the first 2 books in the Blur Trilogy, so I have to read the final book CurseI didn’t enjoy Summer Days & Summer Nights: Twelve Love Stories as much as the Christmas anthology, but it’s still a good read. The Only Thing Worse Than Me Is You is one that I’ve wanted to read for a while. I think I’m in the mood for a good thriller, so I just had to request Since She Went Away

That’s all for me these past 2 weeks. What books did you add to your shelves? Have you read any of these?

  1. Sorry you didn’t like Summer Days and Summer Nights as much as the Christmas anthology — I have to read that one this month but I have a lot more books before I do!!

  2. I haven’t heard about ANY of these books! (Although, that’s mostly my own fault because I have been a total SLACKA on EVERYTHING as of late! I’m happy to see that you’re doing better (at least, I hope you are!) 🙂 I hope all of these books make you super happy and none of them put you in a book slump like they have the tendency to do to me! ❤ teehee! Love you guh!

      • Awww! I really hope not! I’d really miss you! But you have to think so it what’s best for you, so I totally understand! You ever thought shout just taking a break and going on a hiatus? That really helped me when things started to go LOCO.

  3. The Only Thing Worse Than You sounds really cute. I’m curious to hear your thoughts about that one. I’ve also been in the mood for thrillers so I’m looking for more of them.
Enjoy your books this week! 🙂

  4. I’ll keep an eye out for your review of After You. I’ve not read it yet purely because I loved the first book so much and wasn’t sure where she would take Lou in this one. I’m intrigued by the title of The Only Thing Worse Than Me is You, I’m going to look out for this one!
I hope you enjoy all of your new books 🙂

  7. Hope you’ll enjoy all of these books. If you’ve been planning to get to a book for six years I can imagine that you’re happy to finally have it so you can dive into it soon. Oh, and the book After You sounds interesting. I’m also surprised there is a sequel. Oh, and Don’t Get Caught is on my TBR.

I love comments, and try to reply as often as I can. Know that I read each and every one.
