Her Halloween Treat is a fun, hot read from start to finish. The characters and the setting was a perfect fit for this tale, and it makes me wish for Fall to fall in. I think if you love cute romances with a brother’s-best-friend trope , then this book will make a great addition to your shelf.

Joey has just found out that her boyfriend of 2 yrs. is married. She’s heading home to Oregon for her brother’s wedding with a broken heart. Her best friend, Kira, suggests that getting over a guy is to get under another one. Well, Chris is ready to be the rebound guy. Problem is, Chris is supposed to be wining and dining Joey into joining Lost Lake Village Rentals. Getting Joey between the sheets was not part of the plan, but what is a man to do when he has been in love with this girl for years? They hit it off immediately, and soon the fireworks are popping.

I love this little romance. It’s funny, sexy, and I love the friendships between the characters. I also love the sibling bond that Joey and Dillon share. Just the way Joey and Chris reminisced about their high school days, and what Dillon went through when he came out, tore at my heart strings. I love even more that Chris is confident in his manhood and has a gay best friend. They bickered and it made the story so much more than just a romance between him and Joey. Joey gave as good as she got when it came to the three of them together again. It was just what she needed after having been lied to for two yrs, by a guy she was in love with. All the signs were there, but she was too blinded by love to see it. 

Overall, I definitely recommend Her Halloween Treat. There are lots of steamy moments between Joey and Chris, but there is lots of fun and friendships as well.
