Why am I waiting?

“Miranda and Caliban is bestselling fantasy author Jacqueline Carey’s gorgeous retelling of The Tempest. That was all it took to make me want this book. I’ve already pre-ordered my copy, which I rarely do. The Tempest isn’t one of Shakespeare’s works that was on the syllabus when I was in school, but I don’t really think I need to read about Prospero to really enjoy his daughter’s story. And this is a retelling, so I think I’ll be okay. If I read the original, I’m bound to overly compare the two, and that just will not do. What are you waiting on this week?
