REVIEW
Really enjoyed this anthology. I think that everyone will end this book with having connected with at least one story, or at the very least, relating to a character’s situation. I’m not sure where to start with this without spoiling anything. If you haven’t read this yet, I definitely recommend getting this. Especially if you love sweet holiday reads, like I do. Lot’s of Hallmark moments!
Every story in this anthology is great. A few stood out more than others.
Angels In The Snow by Matt De La Peña is my favorite of the twelve. Shy and Haley are just too cute for words and I would love to read a continuation of their story; just to see what they both decided about everything. Polaris Is Where You’ll Find Me by Jenny Han is a great take on elves and the North Pole. It’s A Yuletide Miracle, Charlie Brown by Stephanie Perkins is also memorable. I am gonna have to read more from her. I really love that whole fiasco with the reorganization and decorating the tree. The kissing wasn’t bad either. I totally swooned. Star of Bethlehem by Ally Carter is also one that stood out for me. I had a The Secret Life of Bees moment with this story. The longing for something and finally getting more than you imagined, made the story so great. I love the relationships of the characters and the farm itself.
There is a story in here for everyone to enjoy. I found myself smiling a lot on certain ones. This is the type of feel good anthology that you need on a cold night, snuggled up in whatever your favorite reading spot is. Hot chocolate is a good addition to add. In my case, it’d be coffee with chocolate creamer. I love the fact that every character in this book represent people from all walks of life. The family love, acceptance, romance, traditions, culture…even the longing; it all makes this anthology great to read this season. I definitely recommend reading this, if you haven’t already.

So glad to know you enjoyed this one and found it to be such a sweet lovely holiday read. I don’t do too many holiday reads but I do like my anthologies, and it looks like a lot of really good authors have been gathered for this one. Oh, and you should read more Stephanie Perkins because her YA romance books are EPIC.

Nice summation, Lekeisha. Always trickier to review an anthology.

It is tricky because you have to rate each story to get an individual rating for the book. I enjoyed all of them. Some more than others.

I am glad that you liked it! I read this last year and found it to be enjoyable overall. Some stories were better than others but that is to be expected. I think my favorite story was the one by Rainbow Rowell. This is a great one to help you get in the mood for Christmas!
