I’ve been tagged!!
Thank you so much Read Diverse Books for the tag. And thank you Trang and Lashaan over at Bookidote for these beautiful graphics. I’ve done a Harry Potter tag before, and you can see that HERE. This one is much shorter, so I just decided to give it a go.
Important rule: you cannot use any of the Harry Potter books in your answers.
A Book you found the theme interesting, but you’d like to rewrite it.
Words can’t express how much I would like to have this book written differently. Willowdean’s character just didn’t match up to all the hype about this book. Love the theme, but I’m sure I’ll find a book that gets it right.
The first book in a series that got you hooked.
There’s another series that I’m obsessed with as well, but this is my absolute favorite.
A book you wish you could have right now.
I’m so ready to read this book, that I’d happily sell my soul to Satan himself to have it.
A killer book. Both senses. Take it as you like.
Seriously, it’s about trying to find the killer of 3 lawyers. Also, it’s freaking great!
A book that you found really confusing.
I have only myself to blame for this one. I tried to see if I could enjoy it without reading the previous books, but I ended up having to DNF it. My bad Mr. Williams.
Your spirit animal book.
I connected with this book on so many levels. I read it in one sitting and I am eagerly ready to read more from this author. Brilliant f***ing read! I hope to have my review up next week. But this may be the best book I’ve read this year that I’ve really connected with.
A dark twisted book.
Believe it or not, this little book is quite twisted, and dark in a way. I guess it depends on how you read it. I, for one, was seriously freaked out with the characters.
A book that surprised you in a great way. Reveals to be more than it is.
I was not expecting to love this book so hard. I didn’t know that Professor Don Tillman would be so much like one of my favorite characters, Sheldon Cooper, from The Big Bang Theory. Okay, so he’s not as great and sarcastic, but I still found myself caught up with his ways of thinking. Hilariously insightful book.
I nominate anyone who wants to do this tag. I know how there’s not enough time to do it, so if you feel up for it, give it a go. Let me know if you do, I’d love to check out your post!
What a fun tag! First Grave on the Right was great. I still need to read the second one already!

I loved reading your answers for these girl! And while most of these books I have’t heard of, I could legit FEEL your excitement for them! Some of them seem like deep reads while others you didn’t really have the chance to connect with! ❤ I love this tag and if I have the time, I'd LURVE to do it! ❤ xoxo

I really want to read Americanah and I can definitely see how that is one which would be accurate in it being your spirit animal. I also have the Rosie Project but haven’t read it yet, despite everyone telling me how sweet and worthy it is. I really need to get around to trying that one if I have the time! I love how much Illona Andrews is on this list 😉 You really do love those books ❤

Americanah is one of those books that hits all the right spots. I loved the observations of the main character about America. She is spot on, no matter how many non-blacks think otherwise. It’s all about race, religion, and class in this country. More importantly, she gives incite into her own country of Nigeria as well. It’s an astounding book, that I think everyone should read. I’ve read both Rosie books and really loved them. Professor Don is so smart and unintentionally funny!

The choice for the Killer Book is great. The pure white contrasted with the deadly deadly scythe! lol
Hope you had fun. 🙂
